13 Robles is a consciously chosen community committed to following a holistic way of life—harmonising with its surroundings in the broadest sense.
In the Andalusian mountains, we have created a special place dedicated to yoga, meditation, plant medicine, nutrition, permaculture, tantra, fasting, music, animals, and the untamed natural world. As we are still in the process of building, bioconstruction also plays a significant role in our daily lives.
Our project is young and full of opportunities for growth. It spans 30 hectares of land, partly within the Sierra Nevada National Park, at an altitude of between 1,600 and 1,800 metres. The nearest village is approximately a 90-minute walk away or a 45-minute drive.
At present, three people, five horses, a stray cat, several bee colonies, and a variety of wild animals—including eagles and ibex—call this place home. The landscape is shaped by fruit trees, farmland, oak forests, reliable springs, majestic mountains, and, above all, a deep silence.
In shared spaces, we refrain from private phone and screen use to cultivate mindful engagement with these technologies.
Our project is free of fish and meat products.
Alcohol and drug consumption are not part of our daily lives. Exceptions are made for medicinal purposes and special occasions, such as celebrations or rituals, as we value clarity and presence.
We consciously avoid keeping dogs and cats to minimise the impact on the native wildlife.
